Reporting an error

This is the most useful thing you can write about. Every figure here is either quoted from a federal data set or derived from one by stated arithmetic, so an error is traceable — but only if someone points at it.

Please include:

• the page — the full address is easiest
• the figure you think is wrong, and what you believe it should be
• where your figure comes from, if you have a source

Note that estimated usable battery capacity is, as the method note explains, derived from EPA range and efficiency rather than quoted from a manufacturer. A few kWh of difference from a spec sheet is expected rather than an error. A difference of ten or more is worth reporting.

Using the data

The underlying sources are U.S. federal government publications and are in the public domain. The tables and derived figures assembled here are CC BY 4.0 — reuse them freely, with a credit to kWh100 and a link back where the medium allows. The method note has the full statement.

If you want a bulk extract for research, ask — it is easier to send a clean file than to have it scraped.

Advertising and commercial enquiries

Display advertising is served programmatically; there is no direct ad sales process. kWh100 does not accept paid links, sponsored posts, or payment to change what a figure says. Enquiries of that kind will not be answered.
