Privacy policy
Effective 21 August 2026. Contact: [email protected]
The short version
kWh100 has no accounts, no logins, no newsletter and no forms. It does not ask you for your name, your email address or your location, and there is nothing here for you to fill in. The data on this site is about cars and electricity prices, not about you.
What follows describes the information that is nevertheless handled — by the server that delivers the pages, and by third parties whose code runs on them.
What the site collects directly
Nothing that identifies you. The web server keeps standard access logs containing the IP address, the page requested, the time, the browser user-agent string and the referring page. These are used to check that the site is working and to spot abuse, are not linked to any other information, and are deleted on a rolling basis.
Cloudflare
This site is delivered through Cloudflare, which acts as a content delivery
network and a security layer. Cloudflare processes your IP address in order to
route the request and to block attacks, and may set a strictly necessary cookie
(__cf_bm) to distinguish automated traffic from human visitors. See
the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Advertising
As of 21 August 2026, no advertising is served on this site and no advertising cookies are set. Display advertising through Google AdSense is planned. This section describes what will apply once it is live, and the effective date above will be updated when that happens.
When advertising is running, Google and its partners will use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices. Visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom will be asked for consent before any non-essential cookie is set.
Analytics
Aggregate, cookie-free analytics may be used to count page views and referring sites. Such analytics do not fingerprint visitors, do not track you across other websites, and do not store data that could identify you. If a form of analytics that sets cookies is ever introduced, this policy will be updated first.
Links to other sites
Pages here link to government data sources and, in advertising, to third-party sites. Once you follow such a link, the privacy practices of that site apply; kWh100 has no control over them.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The lawful basis for the limited processing described above is legitimate interest in operating and securing the site.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what personal information is collected, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. kWh100 does not sell or share personal information, and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. Because the site holds no account data, a request will usually be answered by explaining what little exists rather than by producing a file.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the effective date at the top. The most likely change is the one flagged under Advertising.
